Ups and Downs in Superpowers

Author: Prof. Lee, Si-Chen

Most people think that superpowers are abilities that come on demand, but it is simply not the truth. Superpowers are related to the physical condition, mood and familiarity at the given moment. In over 20 years of research, even highly-skilled superpower possessors like Zhang Baosheng and Sun Chulin cannot immediately carry out successful superpower demonstrations that are highly difficult as soon as they start. The same goes to finger reading.

The first finger reading training

In July 1996, with the support of Professor Chi Yueh, the founder of Mingshi Qigong, I started the first official finger reading training class in Taiwan. He allowed me to use his practice site and invited fifteen children from his class to join the training class. At that time, with a lack of manpower, parents were asked to be teaching assistants to help record the results of the experiment. At the end of the first hour of training on the first day, a little girl named Wang developed the capacity, which confirmed the discovery of Professor Chen Shouliang of Peking University that finger reading can be induced. Little girl Wang was a fourth-year student in Fulin Elementary School at the time, and she participated for fun. It turned out that 3 of the 12 children who persisted over four days developed the capacity. Little girl Wang's performs the best out of all of them, with the correct reading rate of 55 percent. She was also very happy. Since it was summer vacation, I asked her to practice some more when she had the time. In mid-August, I tested her again, and found that the accuracy rate dropped to 25%. Although she still had the capacity, it has faded. After school started in September, she stopped practicing because she was busy with homework. I tested again in September and October. The accuracy rate was zero, as the capacity had completely disappeared. In the winter vacation of the following year (February 1997), I asked her to come for training again. The power was restored on the first day and lingered for longer this time, with 75% of accuracy rate by mid-April. However, as she got busy with homework after May with no time to practice, the power disappeared again. I gradually learned that finger reading is the same as learning to play the piano, violin or table tennis. It requires constant practice.

Little girl Wang's finger reading experiment

Power disappeared and restored

In the summer vacation of August, after little girl Wang restored her power after intensive training, I suggested to her mother that she should practice every day. I would rather her stop learning the piano and make time to practice finger reading, as the power is more important than any other skills throughout her lifetime. Her mother followed my advice. Starting from September, after having dinner at 7 every night, she would watch TV for half an hour while practicing, before doing homework at 7:30. The result is remarkable. Her reading power improved by leaps and bounds. Gradually, she can directly hold the paper without using her hand, put the note in the black film box, and read while holding the film box. She could read even if the paper is wrapped with a layer of aluminum foil and put in the film box. She could read even if the film box is put into a bigger box. Her ability to see through has been able to penetrate the double barrier, extract the information and form the image it in the brain. According to the experience of Mainland researchers, she can develop psychokinesis at this time to reverse the power of extracting information and turn it into a force that exercises her consciousness by working on external objects to produce movement and distortion. After three days of training in February 1998, little girl Wang developed psychokinesis and was able to bend the wire in the box. After three months of continuous training, the psychokinesis capacity reached its peak in May, with her being able to bend the wire into a shape.

Bending wire with psychokinesis

It is a pity that during an important experiment, she was too nervous to perform, and her capacity disappeared. In addition, she started going to cram school after entering junior high school in September. She was no longer interested in or practicing finger reading, and her power declined. At her last year of junior high school, she stopped practicing for the high school entrance examination, and her power gradually disappeared. Our examination system really wipes out people's potential.

These ups and downs in power can be observed in all children who have finger reading capabilities. Therefore, warm-up is necessary before each experiment. If the child has practiced at home a few days before coming to the laboratory, the warm-up time will be shorter and the child will get a grasp of it sooner. Otherwise it could take a long time. If you suddenly change the way the sample is wrapped, a period of adaptation will be necessary, just like playing table tennis. If you change the racket, it will take some time to adapt to the new racket to regain the feeling of hitting the ball. This means that finger reading is a skill of the brain, similar to that of arts and sports.

Train the mind to bend the wire

In January 1998, little girl Wang's mind's eye could penetrate through the film box and aluminum foil to extract the text on the paper strips wrapped in the aluminum foil as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, I began to train her psychokinesis by putting a wire in the film box. She held the box with her hand and adjusted the wire into her mind's eye before bending it with her mind. If the wire would not bend, she imagined bending it with tools such as hands, scissors or pliers. On May 17, 1998, experiments were performed under strict conditions, including sealing the film box and signing the name of the experimenter. Little girl Wang tried to fold a small piece of wire into a triangle within 19 minutes. When the film box was finally opened, it was found that the wire had been folded twice. However, since the mind control was not good enough, the two bends were not on the same surface but somehow separated, as shown in Figure 2. The straight wire on the right is the shape before it was put in the film box, and the wire on the left has been folded twice. This is clearly not the power of Newtonian mechanics, but the power of the mind. Nature has once again showed its mysterious power.
